Q. If you could have dinner with your favorite book character, who would you eat with and what would you serve?

I would invite Peeta from The Hunger Games over and we would only have the finest baked goods. Maybe he could teach me how to bake considering I'm awful. I could make a cake that wouldn't actually collapse or stick to the pan. Complex carbohydrates are my kryptonite.

Q.What superhero is your alter-ego?

Minus the psychotic tendencies, I'd have to say Deadpool. I have a similar sense of humor. Maybe I don't find the exact same things funny, but my delivery is very similar and if I were a superhero I'd be breaking the fourth wall constantly.

Q: If you could have characters from a book meet and form an epic storyline with characters from a TV series, which characters would you choose and why?

I would want the characters from Haven in an epic cross with the characters from the Darkest Powers series. Haven the show is all about a town where strange things happen, and the addition of the characters with strange powers from Armstrong's series would work wonderfully.

Q. If you could pick one character in a book, movie or television show to swap places with, who would it be?

Caroline from The Vampire Diaries. Not only is she pretty and has become fairly nice on the show, but now she's a rather powerful vampire who has a lovely, supportive werewolf boyfriend who has gone from being extremely hateful to very sweet with her. She's got daddy issues, but I find her father such a shifty judgmental douche that he's not an issue.

or

Chloe from The Nine Lives of Chloe King. Superpowers and two wonderful guys who would do anything for her. Also a great mother who supports her in just about everything.

Q. What book that hasn't been turned into a movie (yet) would you most like to see make it to the big screen, and who would you like cast as your favorite character?

I would love to see Beautiful Creatures turned into a movie. It stands a good chance of probably actually getting itself made.

Q. Do you have a favorite series that you read over and over again? Tell us a bit about it and why you keep on revisiting it?

I've never really read a whole series more than once other than the Chronicles of Narnia. I've read that series a couple of times mainly because I was really young when I first read them and then the movies came out so I wanted to read them again. I've read Voyage of the Dawn Treader several times just because I like that one in particular. Who doesn't like Reepicheep?

Q. It's that pesky magic book fairy again! She has another wish: What imaginary book world would you like to make a reality?

There's something about the world of Howl's Moving Castle that I've always liked. There's a blend of modern, some undefined historical peasant era, and magic. There's danger and threat going on, but it also seems like fun. A lot of Dianne Wynn Jones' worlds I wouldn't mind living in.

Q. Have you ever wanted a villain to win at the end of a story? If so, which one??

Murtagh in the Inheritance series. The more Paolini tries to make him bad and selfish, the more I like him. Considering his horrific upbringing, I want him to punch Eragon in his smug, self righteous face every time they cross paths. Murtagh is a survivor and if everyone is going to judge him for not sacrificing himself for the greater good, they can get bent. No one ever sacrificed themself for him, so expecting him to live by a set of rules he's never experienced or understands is ridiculous.

Q. In books like the Sookie Stackhouse (True Blood) series the paranormal creature in question "comes out of the closet" and makes itself known to the world. Which mythical creature do you wish would come out of the closet, for real?

No, I don't want vampires or the traditional mythological creatures to show up. The biting thing doesn't appeal to me, werewolves smell like wet dog, and faeries are all ambivalent. I'd like some good, old fashioned demigods running around. I liked my Greek myths too much to not want a real Perseus or which ever monster hunter you think of.

Q. If you could write yourself a part in a book, what book would it be and what role would you play in that book?

At this point it would be some book where I'm a badass and get the unwanted guy in the love triangle. Seriously, fantasies would do, or dystopian. Anything where I get to lead a rag tag group of survivors to eventual freedom. I have a hero complex. Just write me with a sword, a lot of people giving me respect, and maybe get a guy who looks like Thiago Alcantara or Benedikt Howedes. My tastes are simple.

Q. How has your reading habits changed since you were a teen?

Not much except that I don't have as much time. I'm always been OCD when it comes to books. I have to have them around me or I'm not happy. I used to read more in the evening, but recently I'm just too tired. One of the only things that has majorly changed is that I used to finish books even after I realized I hated what I was reading. I no longer do that. "Life is too short to read bad books". I realize this now. If a book just isn't tolerable after a few chapters, I don't finish it. I've learned that 99 times out of a 100, that particular book either isn't for me or isn't going to get better.

Q. Talk about the book that most changed or influenced your life (was it a book that turned you from an average to avid reader, did it help you deal with a particularly difficult situation, does it bring you comfort every time you read it?).

I was never and average reader so there was not really one book that lead me to reading. I would say the book that played a huge and memorable part of my school career was Treasure Island. I don't even like the book all that much, but our teacher read it to us out loud after lunch and all the other kids just loved it. I think that was the point that I realized how much excitement a particular book could cause and sort of lead me to want to be a librarian. To this day I still am not a Stevenson fan, but I remember 20 kids piling up on pillows after lunch every day wanting to hear about the black spot.

Q. Let's step away from books for a second and get personal. What T-Shirt slogan best describes you?

I am a massive, massive football fan, and lest I confuse anyone, by football I mean what we'd call soccer. It defines me a great deal as I sincerely love the game, so my slogans aren't so much slogans as they are my teams.

FC Barcelona is my favorite team and the one that originally made me fall in love with the game. They're from La Liga, Spain's football division, and have recently become the force to be reckoned with in European football.

Schalke 04 is one of my other teams, this one from Germany's Bundesliga. They unfortunately had a rather poor season last year. They're generally one of the major teams in Germany, but things went downhill at the end of last year, culminating in them losing their world class goalie to another team. They've looked pretty decent preseason this year, so here's to hoping.

I'm also a Tottenham Spurs fan, but I figured two shirts is enough.
